How Accountability Works
To be successful in your recovery, you must be willing to move from comfortable isolation to accountable relationships with others. The opposite of addiction is connection and successful recovery depends on walking out the process with others; especially those who are making progress and who can share their recovery experiences with you. In His Grip can help you to connect with others who are learning to overcome sexual addiction in the context of accountable relationships. We have small groups that meet weekly, a daily check-in on ZOOM, and can help you connect with an accountability partner. Those unwilling to connect with others will have a very low chance of a successful recovery.
What devices do you use to access porn? A computer, a tablet or smartphone? We don’t advocate any type of filtering software but rather software that will report to an accountability partner, or partners of your choice, any sites you visit with sexually inappropriate content.
